via GoogleWhole fish, fillets, shellfish — landed in Newlyn, Falmouth & beyond. Packed on ice, on your table next day across mainland UK.
Order from our online shop by 11am. Whole fish, fillets, shellfish — same fish that comes through our shop in Falmouth.
The same day. On ice, in vacuum packs, inside an insulated wool-lined box.
Next-day delivery across mainland UK with an overnight courier. Order by 11am and we dispatch Tuesday to Thursday, so your box arrives Wednesday to Friday.
Most of what we sell is landed within a few miles of our shop — Newlyn and Falmouth, mainly. Our catch includes line-caught fish (bass, mackerel, pollack, Cornish tuna) — slower, more selective, and the fish arrives in beautiful condition for it.

Honest pricing
Our flat delivery fee for fresh fish is currently £12.95.
Shipping fresh fish properly isn’t cheap: it means insulated packaging, ice or gel packs, and a next-day courier. Our delivery fee reflects what that actually costs us — nothing more.
Lots of online shops offer “free delivery over £X.” We’ve chosen not to, on purpose. “Free” delivery is never really free — the cost is usually just folded into higher product prices. We don’t want to do that, because we sell exactly the same fish at exactly the same price whether you buy it in our shop in Falmouth, order it online, or collect it from us. Burying delivery in our fish prices would mean charging our shop and click-and-collect customers for a service they’re not even using.
So we keep it simple and honest: one fair price for the fish, and a flat, transparent fee if you’d like us to deliver it.
Delivery, answered
Each order is packed on the day of dispatch on ice, sealed in insulated wool packaging, and sent by overnight courier. The wool insulation keeps the box temperature stable for ~36 hours. When it arrives, the fish should feel cold to the touch.
Orders placed before 11am ship the same day for next-day delivery. We dispatch Tuesday to Thursday, so your fish arrives Wednesday to Friday. Orders placed after 11am or over the weekend ship on the next dispatch day. You’ll get a tracking email when your box leaves us.
The courier can leave the box in a safe place if you’ve given delivery instructions at checkout — most people choose a porch, side gate, or trusted neighbour. The insulated packaging keeps the contents cold for several hours if it’s a cool day. We don’t recommend doorstep delivery in summer if you’ll be out all day — use a safe-place or get it sent to a workplace.
We deliver to most of mainland UK. Some remote postcodes are excluded (parts of the Scottish Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands). The checkout will tell you whether your postcode is covered before you pay.
Yes — every product on our online counter is something we have, packed for you specifically. We don’t substitute without asking. If something’s sold out by the time you order, the product page will show it as unavailable.
The majority of our fresh fish comes from small Cornish day-boats — boats that go out for a single day and land their catch extremely fresh. We follow the Marine Conservation Society’s Good Fish Guide ratings (and the Cornwall Good Seafood Guide for local catch), preferentially sourcing species rated 1–4, and we avoid fish that’s spawning or below its length at maturity. Our full sustainability policy is at pysk.co.uk/sustainability — and if you want to know how a specific fish was caught, just ask.
Reply to your order confirmation email or message us. If the fish hasn’t arrived in good condition we’ll refund or replace, no questions. If you’ve just changed your mind about a species, get in touch and we’ll work it out — we want you to be happy with your order.
The outer box is cardboard. The insulation is sheep’s wool wrapped in a recyclable food-grade film. Ice packs are non-toxic gel. The fish itself is vacuum packed. All of it can go in normal recycling streams — the wool insulation can also be composted or reused as garden mulch.
Shop the counter, pick what you want, we’ll have it packed and ready for the next dispatch.
